While in winter we are more sensitive, and annoying dull throat
will reach any time of year. Take these precautions to minimize your throat
risks.
Primary Causes of a Sore Throat
·
An infection or bacterium is the common cause of a sore throat.
Smoking throat pain, a dry heat, post-nasal drying, or an allergic reaction may
also cause soreness. A hurried nose drops down the throat and particularly
while you sleep.
·
Acid reflux is one of the most frequent causes of a sore throat.
You'll end up with what you feel like a sore throat if heavy stomach acids rise
into your gorge while you're unconscious.
·
Try to lift the head of the bed or place some phone books under
the top of the bed to stop this happening. To stop this. With the bed angled a
little higher over the horizontal one, reflux flows upwards in the evening —
from your throat to your abdomen.
How does a sore throat sound like?
·
A poor throat hurts, sounds scratchy, which can cause discomfort
that makes talking uncomfortable or swallowing uncomfortable. It may be red and
dotted with yellow or white dots.
·
Soreness caused by viruses (e.g. colds or influenza) normal slowly
progresses with little or no fever. But unexpectedly, in the presence of
swollen drums and fever, bacterial infections such as strep throat (stretched
throat) frequently arise.
·
Clean your hands regularly and try to keep them away from your
eyes, nose and mouth during the cold and flu season. You would not get a chill
or grip.
·
In your bedroom, run a cool-broken vaporizer or humidifier. Using
moisture to the environment keeps it from being dried and keeps the mouth from
becoming too dry.
·
Place a bowl of water on your radiator every night if you don't
have a humidifier. It may not be very sleek, but it fits and anything you buy
from a store.
·
Stop smoking if you drink. The lining of the mouth is very
irritating to tobacco smoke.
·
Instead of your lips, respire your nose. The air you breathe is a
normal way to dampen it.
·
Purchase a new toothbrush if you're trapped in a sore canyon,
which appears to come up over and over again. Bacteria collect on your
bristles, and they will penetrate your bloodstream and re-infect you if you
damage your gums while cleaning.
·
Enhance the immune system with vitamins, spices and proper diet
during cold and influenza seasons. Vitamins C and E, zinc and magnesium
minerals, immune-enhancing herbs like goldenseal and astragals are clear
supplemental candidates. Cook or add garlic, ginger, shiitake mushroom and
champagne, which all offer immune enhancement.
